I remember seeing Wale open at Platinum in DC. He was performing "Dig Dug" then and now he is on ESPN. It was about four years ago and pretty much represents the "grind" we all speak of. I've said it before, whoever is behind his strategic marketing is doing an ill job (elitaste.com) ?
